Er... Belated birthday greetings on your 30th Sister Carol. Actually we had our honeymoon in Tobago last year. I asked Janette if she would like to marry me on our first evening in Castara, on the beach in front of Cascreole. It was just a mad romantic thing to do as we had been together for 36 years anyway. Of course Janette went into shock and didn't say yes until three days later. We were married a week later on Mt Dillon overlooking Castara and a rainbow appeared over the Caribbean. The reception was a fish supper for six at Cascreole.

and

Thanks for your good wishes Peter. Looks like you will be arriving in Paradise just about the time we will be leaving. I have a vague recollection that a similar thing happened last year.

and

Carole. Awful though the flight may be, Tobago is worth it (even in the rain). Keep that thought.

Tony

Aaaaah Tony!!!!
You romantic old thing you! What a delightful story. 36 years together? You must have been mere babes when you met.
We clock up 25 years this August, which rather blows my claim to being 30 out of the water...
Did you know that if you enter your date of birth in your profile a little notice about it appears in the index on your birthday? It also gives your age, unfortunately...

Yup, Janette was only 15 when we met and we started living together when she was 16, much to her parents dismay.

Staying for three weeks this time Carole. Last year it was two weeks but this year I fancied a bit longer. We were also there in 1999 (on a very cheap package deal from Virgin) but stayed at Sandy Point Village in the Crown Point area. David has it sussed - work all summer in England and then spend three months in Tobago, though I think he would like to be in the sun permanently, (well wouldn't we all?).

I'm already packed and ready to go. Just two more days of work.
