I am obviously confused. A state that is not unfamiliar to me.

I understand perfectly Bruv. It's the people who are
not confused who are the ones we have to worry about, I always find.

as far as I know there are two doris(es) in castara.
one has dark hair, lives almost at the end of the village (parlatouvier direction) and grows and sells garden plants.... the other one is more blondish, lives in the valley where "toad hall" is located, works at sealevel and is one half of the "big fish" team (the other one would be brigitte, not another doris).
the other ("bloody") germans in the village are wolf (from "nature view", guess no one would confuse him with a doris) and me... and not even my middle name is doris
hope that brings the confusion to an end
guess davis was not drunk enough to see double yet, but not sober to see normal

Hello Steph,
What a pity. I was hoping to enter Castara in the Guinness Book of Records under "Small Caribbean Villages With The Greatest Number Of German Dorisses".....

Noe,
You're almost correct. Try as I may to read all the posts I usually can't get past the first one or two entries on any of the fishing posts. (Although I vaguely remember one about cooking the fish on a board and then eating the board. I also remember Peter's pictures of extremely gross fish. In fact that may have been in the same post). But more to the point, I can't help but notice that "Waffling with Carol" seems to be dormant while this one has gone off the deep end. Keep up the good work
Bill

mayeb for the sake of the people who really try to get information out of this we should be good kids and move back to our "waffeling playground"....

PS: @noe: guess we could still enetr the guiness book with the dorises... I can't imagine another tiny village in the caribbean that also has two german dorises...

Hi ChrisS,
when exactly are you going to be in Castara? I will be staying near Castara over the Easter time 17.-28.3 and it would be fab to meet You guys over there... I know the island a little bit as i travelled around it few times in Novemember when there for the first time... this time i am planning to hire a car, and if all works out ok, maybe we can do some sightseeing together.. or at least meet in the village for a drink ...
Regards, Sari

Hi Sari,
We are going to be in Castara from the 10th to the 24th March, so it should be no problem to meet up at some point
Are you Finnish by the way?
