I have to agree with Steve - where have you been ! I'm no car fanatic by any means but never miss "Top Gear" - it's an institution !

Well now you've got me wondering... where have I been? What day is it? Who am I? What is mystery called life? What's it all about Alfie? You see, I have much more important issues to tangle up my little brain with than some imaginary racing driver...

Greetings from over yonder,

I just realized when making up the role of attendees that I left off "His Anorakness" whose yearly fact finding trip occurs in this time frame. My most humble apologies. In fact with his connections he ought to be able to arrange the entire gathering at no cost to the guests.

I'm not so sure about David being this STIG person but after Brian (Ali-Baba) took us on our tour in the rain forest I think you might want to look into his whereabouts at crucial times.

Noe,

I tried to send an e-mail to you at the address you show and it failed to go thru. The response said you don't have an account. Do you want to try to set up another?

Bill,
How very weird. I tried sending to it too, but they are denying my existence, even though I can get into the account OK! :?
I'll try again, maybe with Hotmail, but not now; tired, brain hurts.
Love
Noe

Tony and Noe,

I'm wondering if it's something to do with myTobago that Tony seems to be lost and that Noe no longer exists

Are there any "Twilight Zone" fans out there who can help solve these mysteries :?:

Oh Oh :!: Not know what the Stig is  I love Top Gear, but then I have had an ongoing love affair with "motors" ever since Dad taught me to drive on holiday in Wales in a farmers field aged 12 :!:
Need a bit of mystery in life.Whoever he is he's got talent. A lap in the reasonably priced passenger seat would be awsome
Noe, maybe it is David who is hiding his light under the proverbial :?:

I notice this thread has now slipped off on a rather interesting tangent...

Bill,
I managed to access the e mail account that doesn't exist, and de-activate it, although it doesn't exist. Yahoo said that they are sorry to see me go, and they will delete the account that doesn't exist after 90 days, then it will no longer exist.
Still with me?
Rather foolishly I opened another account with Yahoo, which is where I have my main account. I sent a message from the new account with no problems, then sent a message TO the new account. It doesn't exist.

I am the Stig.

Steve W, if you're there, can you explain in layman's terms what the**** is happening?

Meanwhile, I will continue with my quest to have a private chat with you Bill, so watch this space.
If you don't hear from me in thirteen days, thirteen hours and thirteen minutes, the clock will strike thirteen and you will know I have entered a parallel universe.
.................

Hi Carol

Oh dear, oh dear! I think you will have to sit on the naughty chair for ten minutes for thinking such a rude word.

I've sent a test message to the address you quoted and, sure enough, it has bounced back saying that there is no such account.

Are you absolutely sure that you've qouted the right address? Even one character wrong or missing (should there be an 's' in the name, for example) will cause it to fail.

If you are 100% positive that you have quoted it correctly, then I suggest you send a test mail to that address from your other account, wait for the bounce error message and then forward that to Yahoo tech support so that they can look into the problem. To be honest, these systems are pretty robust and so I would have to put my money on the problem being the quoted address.

Hi
Was having a chuckle over the "Twilight Zone ", which seems to be somewhere I exist on a regular basis, think it's called dementia . Anyway logged on to the "crocus" website to order plants - all went well until check - out, apparently my postcode is not in the UK and they don't deliver outside these shores. Wish I knew where I must be cos to me everything looks just the same.

I think that you've put your finger on it there Sandra... everything looks the same but there's something not quite right and you can't figure out just what it is.

David would probably know. He knows everything. Where is he anyway?

This is getting worse by the hour.

Steve- Thanks for your answer. I promise I had not made a mistake with the email address, however it definitely has gone now.
I then opened a second one: [email protected]. I could send messages from it, but not to it!
I notified Yahoo but have not heard back. Now that address seems to have vanished too:!: as I couldn't sign in to it!!!!
I've given up on Yahoo. I just hope that my main address is still there, or I'll be lost to this forum.

Sandra, welcome to the Weird Club. Are you sure you want to stay?

Tony, please don't tell me that David has disappeared; I'm getting really scared now. Had to eat a chocolate biscuit earlier to keep my strength up.

David,
You are not helping the situation, but I'm glad you made contact, my little Cornish poltergeist.
I wonder when Bill will appear? He's in a different (time) zone already, of course.
I've had the theme from "the X Files" running in my head all day. Can't remember the theme from "The Twilight Zone".
When Bill knocks, I'll give him yet another Email address, but I'll let him read through all this first.
Spaced-out Noe

Now I'm totally confused, Tony says David will know where I am, "crocus " insists, after numerous E mails that I am definitely not here and my son just texted asking "Where are you " ? So come on David where am I ?
Sandra - I think

I can take you on any day, with your fancy long words...
I may not use fancy long words, but I use lots of plain short ones! And I'll have you know that I recently beat my father in law at Scrabble for the first time since knowing him, and he's a killer scrabbler!!
