As far as I know, Elton has never been seen with a hairy mush.
I must tell you how pleased I am to see the word "mush", which I think is falling into dis-use. My dad used it, and I think he got it from Tony Hancock.
I am not, I hasten to add, implying that you are the same generation as my dad, who would have been eighty this year.
For the benefit of Gisela, Bill et al, "mush" means face!
Depending where you come from it is also used in the context of calling a person, as in :

"Hey Mush" or "Listen here Mush" with the Mush pronounced Moosh, hmm . . . . No not "Moo" as in cow type Moo, & also not as in Mosh but sort of in between. I'm confusing myself now so I will stop

Nobody seems to be putting cap photos on (remember how this thread started?) and I can't win the competition uncontested now can I?

Perhaps you've set too high a standard and nobody thinks they can out-cap you. =D>

Hi Gisela

Nice, but the competition is for pictures of member wearing myTobago caps in places OTHER than Tobago and I assume the 'prize' will go to the most unusual place/situation.

Definitely a leading candidate for the strangest thread so far this year and possibly for all time, although the underwear and boxing gloves threads will both be hard to beat.

Bill,
I remember those threads from when I was a newbie; it was reading that sort of thing that encouraged me to join up!

Bill,
What's strange about wearing a sports cap whilst scuba diving?? :?

My Mum always told me it's better to be safe than sorry and to wear a cap even if you thought you didn't need one, as it could prevent any unfotunate accidents. I therefore think that you are very sensible Kevin and maybe we could all take a leaf out of your book.

Kevin has a point!! My other half was forever burning his head when diving, so always wears a cap until he's submerged (then he tucks it into his BCD!). Once back on the surface, it goes straight back on! I've yet to see him actually wear it throughout the dive though... Kevin, you might just start a new trend!!

Lisa.

Hope my wife doesn't read this thread.

She'll wonder what I get up to when I creep out at 5:30 and say ' just going fishing '
To which she often replies ' Hope you catch something '

I'm pretty sure she doesn't have that in mind
