That pharmacy is still there. It has been refurbished about 3 years ago.
I believe the name is Scarborough drugs.

Hi Guys

If memory serves me correctly, Scarborough Drugs is directly opposite the Port - the first building on the left on Wilson Road. We have it marked on the map. I assumed this was the one that David was talking about.

Confirm that. We get all our drugs there. Can't remember, though, if they have named bags.

In Canada we get lots of 'London Drugs' bags to wind up the customs and police when we come home!

Just to follow up on this thread, interestingly enough, I have sensitivities to acidic fruits, for example I could not eat grapefruit or i would suffer painful heartburn for hours. I normally would never drink orange, pinapple, grapefruit or similar citric acid juices for fear of the repercussions. While in Tobago I drank plenty of all of the above with no adverse symptoms! Even punch which has the primary ingredient of grapefruit juice, the strongest citrus!

I believe this is because the quality of the fruit in the Carribean is far beyond what I could get in Canada, or perhaps similarily England being of similar latitude. Even the frozen concentrates or boxed juices there tasted far better, and were far less acidic. Fruits are picked when they are properly ripened and grown in the proper climate, instead of picked green and ripened on the truck on the way up from Mexico like we get in Canada. It makes a dramatic difference and I was drinking juice like a child once more!
