Sorry Rachel, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I wouldn't hesitate to do the same again, so please just accept that at face value - no other thanks or comment are necessary, so let's no embarass each other. I'm afraid that whilst my intention to contact you and see how you're getting on was a genuine reflection of my thoughts this morning, most of my other comments were primarily directed at other readers to explain why I might be less than forthcoming about other appeals.
Take care. Keep smiling and accept that you've given all the thanks necessary. End of story!

Oh I am happy! I'm just concerned about appearing ungrateful and I get minor-ly paranoid that I've forgotten someone, or that I appear rude. I was always taught to thank people, but when you receive so much love and support, it's quite difficult to keep up (oh! poor me!).

It's a turn of events that had some inevitability about it but it's still very sad to read.
Rachel, my thoughts are with you and yours right now and whilst I'm some time after the initial post of the news may I take this chance to say how blessed Andy was to have someone as loving as you by his side. I don't need to have met you to feel able to make such a comment, your kindness shines from the way you post here.
I hope you manage to hold the memory of Andy dear and learn to focus on the joy he shared with you and not just the very end. I speak form heartfelt experience and know there will be good days and bad days ahead for you but I hope the bad days are few and far between.
Sorry if this appears in any way misplaced.
Peace.
