October Winners

Hello All

Congratulations to David, Andrew and Zellah, our October prize winners, and thanks to Rachel Harries-Darke for supervising the winner selection process.

I'm dissapointed to say that we only sold 30 competition tickets in October - a reflection of very low activity on the site in general. There's only two more months of the competition left - so 6 lovely prizes. So, come on folks, there's still tons of really great prizes left to choose from.

Cannot believe I won, haven't won any thing for years!!

Next year will not come soon enough, although being there for 5 weeks will be worth the wait.

Well, I'm sad to say only 13 tickets issued so far, David.

Steve

I empathise with your feelings of sadness.

Over 3 and a half THOUSAND views of this topic - two months to go before the competition ends and still some b****y good prizes up for grabs, yet only a few entries so far this month.

It really makes me wonder if the massive effort that we went to during the organising of this event, was worth it.

Without wishing to sound petulant - anyone who has read this thread, used the site, enjoyed and benefitted from it, yet has still not made a donation should be ashamed of themselves.

Not only are you failing to support Steve, but also the businesses who have generously donated their services for free. They want you to win their prizes!

Please support this competion by making a donation to myTobago.

Well said Steve.

Come one everybody ... get your wallets out.

I wonder how many have saved money from checking myTobago out for their holidays?

What's more ... there is a good chance of winning something too.

Hi all,

Like many people, I've had a couple of wonderful holidays in Tobago - something of which can be relived by keeping in touch with the island through this site.

I would LOVE to think that I would be returning to the island next year - but unless I win the lottery, it ain't going to happen!

However - for those of you lucky enough to be contemplating a trip - BUY A COMPETITION TICKET! And for all the rest of us - MAKE A DONATION! We all want to see this site go forth and prosper (sorry - seem to have got a bit Star Trek there!) - and as Steve has rightly pointed out, this requires some funds.

So all of you out there who regularly log on for your dose of paradise - you know what to do to keep this site in existence.

Jane

PS Good luck to all who have bought tickets this month!

Hi Folks

Rachel has just initiated the November prize draw, so may I be the first to congratulate our three lucky winners.

We issued exactly 50 tickets in the month, with entries from 5 countries. In fact our biggest donation was from Russia - thank you, A.

Here we are at the last month of the year. How time flies. So, come on folks. There are still TONS of prizes left. In fact, lets make it a bit more interesting as this is the last round of the 2005 Competition. How about I issue one extra prize for each 10 tickets issued over the first 50? Sold!

How exciting! I've just got your email to say I've won third prize this month. That means we've just got to go back to Tobago next year (was there really any doubt?!?).

Now to make our prize choices....and enter for this month's draw..... :D

Thanks to all involved in the competition.

Congratulation

Hey Jo,

congratulations! You see now, how easy it is to win (I will make my dontation for december right now).
I'm sure you will find a nice prize maybe something with diving.

Now you have a good reason to go back (not, that it really needs a reason)

My very congratulations to your win!

Cheers

By the way, did I tell you that I got CARIB in Germany? I will drink a bottle (or two?) on you and Steve!

Hello Gisela

It's great to win, isn't it? As you guessed, we didn't really need a prize to entice us back next year. And we are already looking carefully at the diving prizes on offer.

I have been reading about you finding Carib in Germany, I hope it reminds you of Wallace's. Cheers!

Steve says hello, by the way.

Well, David and Dianne,

the biggest prize in the end is the chance to go to Tobago. You are so lucky to drink your Carib in the Caribbean in a few ays.
I have to tell you that it does not taste that good in Germany (but still better than the other beers).

Enjoy your holidays, with or without a price but never without Carib

And make the December donation the biggest ever!

Cheers
