Have to agree with those comments as only a nerd would make a post just to bring his count up to 100.

Sorry Steve - My comment about the blocks being to the left of the shot was referring to the original pic.

In the cropped section that I posted the blocks are two dark parallel lines running at right angles off the beach, just to right of centre.

You can see the blocks from Canoe Bay Resort, so next time you're there you can smile and say to yourself 'Ah! there they are' and I was right- Steve Pitts IS an anorak

Anyone got any others to share and frustrate us all with?

You've got it spot on, Bill.

And, by enlightening you in such detail, Paul is in danger of being labelled an 'anorak anorak' of course.

The big question is, did Tobago make us this way, or do we like Tobago because we ARE this way?????? :?

Actually, leaving aside all the piss-taking [excuse my French] and being serious for just a moment (promise!), may I please compliment Steve P on his artistic flair. Who else could have seen/made such a striking picture from some old concrete drainage pipes?

I have to admit that it came as no real surprise. Readers of our Fishing articles are sure to have seen Steve's picture of "Beer & Flies" on the FAQ page. Amazingly, he took the photograph through his sunglasses, to get the striking polarised lighting effect.

So, to give our brains a rest, maybe the next question should be: what brand of beer does this shot feature? Only first-timers who haven't visited Tobago yet need reply

Oh here was me being all proud I knew the answer but I have already been to Tobago, I was told that is "the real mans beer" and only women like Carib. Well I don't even drink beer and I downed few Caribs while there so it is probably right...

And once again a new direction.

Bill

P.S. Surely somebody must have a picture of a bloody parrot (dead or alive) to post.

How's this?
It's a Norwegian Blue and he's not dead - he's just resting on account of being sh***ed out after a long bout of squawking.

I did wonder how weird this thread would get and now I know!

We all know the parrot wasn't dead.

It was just feeling weary.

I don't agree that it was Norwegian though ... that was just part of the sales pitch ... why has nobody questioned that?

Talking of dead parrots, I don't know if anyone has seen the Monty Python Dead Parrot sketch - scammer style.

This was a wonderful con of the conners. Well worth a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvyrzQldOKE

Interesting point that one of T&Ts greatest sons Sir Learie Constantine was succeeded as Rector of St Andrews University by John Cleese now to complete the circle it gets so bl..dy cold there that you need an anorak ....come in Steve
