Dear Young Bill,
Thank you for your kind comment about my avatar. As you're American, permit me to say " Aw shucks!"
And Tony, no more comments about The Hat then?
It was the Chief who gave me a liitle nudge about getting it done, during some Private Negotiations, and he did a splendid job of cropping, splicing, enhancing and air brushing.
That photo was taken on No Mans Land, either just before,or just after,(I forget which) my trousers fell down. I was wearing them to hide my awful legs,on top of a swimsuit which was too slippery for them to grip onto.....
I think Cheno is probably still laughing about it. You know those cartoons where someone's eyeballs come out on springs? I'm not sure if he was astonished or horrified!
Cheers
Carolnoe :D

Carolnoe,

I see that your trip hasn't slowed you down nor affected your off the wall zany outlook on life "That photo was taken on No Mans Land, either just before,or just after,(I forget which) my trousers fell down."
It's good to have the waffling thread going again.

It's FEAR, David. And the simple desire for a quiet life.

Yes,I understand Tony and agree, fortunately I don't have a domestic alien, although I do work with a wholey female team(eight in total) so I too watch my step on occasion.

Dear David,

Hi Carolnoe,

how could I miss this ???? I promise, I will never stay away longer than 3 days.... because I really don't want to miss one of you postings!

Thanks Gisela! :D
I'm a little worried about the Three Musketeers though ( David, Bill and Tony )They seem to have stopped talking to me :( It seems to have started with my Hat, and comments made about it and my shades. Maybe, in Bill's and Tony's case at least, they are in trouble with their Domestic Aliens......
My Domestic Alien is making his way to Gibraltar even as we speak. He calls it "work".Huh!!!!!
I will be telling you about my boat trip when I have more time.
Ever had to sleep on a table?
Cheers me hearties
Carolnoe
Still worried about the Three Musketeers

Hi Carolnoe,

don't think you have to worry about anybody especially not about David, Tony or Bill. OK, I don't know Tony that well but it seems/sounds that he is able to take a lot (more). They will be back at you in an instant :D because - like me - they will not miss your postings.

Sleep on a table? Not that I remember  but on my desk in the office and wake up with signs on my forehead "asdf jkl;" ... #-o Anyway, tell us your experiences!
And don't worry about the shades. The look perfect for a sunny day on No-Mans-Land 8)
I'm longing for your report about the boat trip!

Cheers
Gisela

CHEEK!
Um, by which I mean sauce, what a nerve- you know what I mean....
If you care to read back, Sir David of Cornwall Land, you will see I used the good old English word TROUSERS!!!!!!!!
Incidently, as I am laughing in that photo, looking back I think it was taken AFTER my TROUSERS fell down.
Glad you're talking to me again!
