Am I incredibly sad or what? To get to Bude you have to go to Exeter St Davids and get a bus! Is that right Young David?
Can't you tell I've been on my own today!
The clocks go back tonight. An extra hour in bed

but then the evenings get darker!
Oh well, back to the Land of Peace and Dreams, as Bill would say!

Carolnoe, that's correct, and it takes almost as long to get to Gatwick from here as it takes Gatwick to Paradise.
Yes I have been to the Isles many times.....once you have been they will always be with you. They are magical and mysterious and you wouldn't beleive that Tresco is in Cornwall, and not the tropics!!!!!

Hi Carole
No, you're not being dim.
Click on 'Board Index' at the start of the navigation bar above. Then, once back on the forum 'home' page, have a look for a line of three text links immediately above the 'Notes & Welcome Messages' panel. In that group you will see a text link 'View new posts'.

Morning David my very good friend!
I am THRILLED to find a fellow Scilly lover!
I have a little wooden ornament with" My heart is in the Isles of Scilly" written on it hanging on my wardrobe. We have a timeshare on Tresco which we can't always use as it's in school term time, but we go when we can.
We flew over the Isles on our way to Tobago, and our fellow passengers thought we were mad when we started waving and saying "Hello Tresco!". Me being slightly loopy, I was blowing kisses....
I could write PAGES about Scilly!
Thinking about my planning to come and find you yesterday, can you imagine the conversation between myself and my husband?
"I'm just off to Cornwall to visit some man in Bude I've never met before. I don't know where to find him but I'll knock on a few doors. As it's late in the day and will take six hours or so, I won't be back tonight. Is that okay with you?"
" Yes of course Dear. What's for dinner?"
We are a relatively short hop from Gatwick. Makes up for not living in somewhere like Cornwall I suppose!
Better stop now. This has nothing to do with Tobago!
Cheers me old mate
