David,
Welcome back to the club. It's half snowing and half raining and the winds are blowing about 30 MPH. Another Sh**ty day here in Chicago

Oh well ... I am here now !!
Weather superb ... calm ... tranquil ... surprisingly low humidity ... when I get a chance I will update the Liquid Sunshine.
But frankly ... I would rather post short little annoying messages to tell you all what you are missing.

the reef looks glorious this mornig. sea calm as a mill pond and the sun making its way over the hill now... look forward and don't be grumpy all the guys that can't be here right now!

Steph,
How can we be anything but grumpy? It's cloudy, below freezing and dirty slushy snow is on the ground.
Paul,
Go ahead and post your annoying messages, we'll sit here in the cold and take it. Hope you have a good time.

Hey nothing personal David.
Yesterday very calm and beautiful ... cool overnight ... wind picking up.
Today the sea is picking up a little ... but beautiful sunshine and breeze.
Hi Brian ... I have been there ... the boathouse does the best rum punch in Castara.
Today I am in disguise ... got bitten on eyelid and one ear by a sandfly ... so if you see a chap walking about with a huge left ear and a shut right eye ... that's me !!

I'll only be looking from the balcony... waiting for TSTT to come the second day now...

Paul,
Are you sure this doesn't really have something to do with boxing gloves? You wouldn't fib to us, would you?

Damn ... I knew I forgot something.
Anyway, the eye is healing and my left ear is now the same size as the right ear ... feeling a little more balanced.
The weather is unbelievable ... I have never been here with virtually no rain for 4 days and you can tell that there has been little rain for months by the state of the parched football fields and roadside verges.
This morning there is not a cloud in the sky over the Caribbean side and some clouds over the Atlantic side.
There is very low humidity by Tobago standards and a cool breeze is blowing.
The sea has been very calm and just picks up a bit at high tide.
No problems with the heat at night ... aircon off ... windows open ... which is fine until you wake up with a ravenous sandfly chewing on your eyelid !!
Regards ... will keep posting the updates daily ...

Now, Now David,
One who spends a couple of months a year in Tobago should not be that bitter at someone else's good fortune. That freedom to express bitterness should be reserved for someone like me who probably won't return for a couple of years
Andy,
Enjoy yourself and don't worry about us poor folk left behind in the snow and cold.

It clouded over yesterday for about 2 hours and ... back came the sun.
Heavy rainfall overnight ... there's a first.
Little cloudy this morning ... looks like a showery day with sunshine.
Keep taking the pills David ... sounds lovely in Cornwall !!

Well, we had sunshine all day on the Isle of Wight and the Solent was Caribbean blue but it just made me miss Castara even more.
Have a wonderful time for all of us who can't be there with you Paul.
I too am a Yorkshireman, (in exile).
