Tony,I think certain members who got upset at my positive reports have put the hex on me.It started to rain at about 2pm yesterday and we have had downpour after downpour!!
So,please everybody in the frozen wastes of North Europe and North America, forgive me,I wasn't gloating honestly

Hi David,

We're not getting at you really -just jealous!

And as for rain -be thankful you're not at home in Cornwall . In the UK the weather is HORRIBLE at present - blowing half (or even all of) a gale; rain, rain rain; and grey and miserable with it. If this is what they call global warming - they can keep it!

You may be getting rain - possibly even torrential at times - but at least it's warm rain! Liquid sunshine! 8)

Jane (about to set off to work in the gloom of an English morning) :(

Hi David

The rain seems to be just holding off to the east and the clouds are burning away as they move west ... Tobago could be lucky.

Keep the updates coming.

It did rain in the afternoon but not much and the night was crystal clear and the sky was amazing.
A little rain overnight,a good bright start to the day but it looks like its going to be sunshine and showers.

where do you see it get brighter? must be the look through a golden bottle of carib, since the rest of us sees it still very grey... upside is that it never takes long to clear up here...not like in europe where you have rainy weeks...

Hi David

The trough I mentioned in Liquid Sunshine last weekend has brought the rains through and a Tropical Storm (Olga) has formed near Puerto Rico.

The rain you are getting is very heavy over Trinidad and Venezuela ... there have been some landslips there too ... Tobago is on the northern edge of the heavy rain area and not had this as bad as other areas (believe it or not!).

This looks like it has set in for another day before it will clear up.

Hi everyone

This area of rain is now producing heavier falls over Tobago as well as Trinidad. This has developed into a very large area of moisture with some extremely intense areas of rainfall currently to the south and east of Tobago.

So ... the risk of rain is very high until the weekend and Tobago would be lucky to avoid a very intense spell of rainfall at some point in the next 24 hours.

Bit of a wash out this week I'm afraid ... but don't forget how cold and miserable it seems to be everywhere else!

David,
It sounds like you had worse weather with the rainy season coming to an end than we did in the middle of it!
But what else have you been up to? Answers on a postcard please!
Bill, I heard your weather has been quite interesting recently. Still, everything's on a bigger scale in the US.
See ya!
