Hi Peter,

wonderful photos. I made a sailtrip in 2002 from Grenada to Martinique. So many things came back to me while watching your pics. Carriacu, Little St. Vincent and - of course - Union Island and the Tobago Keys! Snorkeling at the Tobago Keys was one of the most impressive experiences of my life.

I envy you! 8)

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.
Cheers
Gisela

Yes, congratulations, how romantic, and thanks for posting your lovely photos.
Did you enjoy Tobago and did you take the drive on the new road from Bloody Bay to Charlottelville?

Thanks Roland & Julia! Yes it was our first time in Tobago (we plan on many returns...), and we did make the drive on the new road to Charlotteville, which was pretty much breathtaking.

Roland, your photos from Tobago 2005 are incredible, the way the light was captured for the photos at Castara, along the beach, is beautiful. Jen and I actually stayed above the cafe at Naturalist Beach Resort on Big Bay in Castara, which I notice is included in several of your photos.

Hi Matt, I'm glad you like them. We enjoyed this special mood at afternoon often with some Caribs at the Cascreole tree house. Many opportunities = plenty of nice pictures.... :)
We haven't visited Tobago again since 2005, but maybe next year!

Good morning!
After many agonising hours I've finally finished my second album. The photos are not up to the standard of those I've seen from the rest of you, so don't expect anything exciting (I'm talking to YOU Bill!)
I've been served an injunction from the family regarding pictures of themselves, so they will remain unseen.
I've also found that I've forgotten where some of them were taken; so if you can fill in the gaps or find a mistake, please let me know. You may also find duplications in the first and second albums, for which you must excuse me.
I can't stand looking at them any more. Not only has it driven me mad but also made me very sad and nostalgic! :-({|=
Anyway, they can be found on http://carolspics1.myphotoalbum.com

Well done and thanks for sharing your lovely pics with us Sis. We have loads from our last visit in Jan of this year but I haven't been able to get it together to sort through them and post them on our Flickr site. I have been subconsciously avoiding the task because I suspected that I would become, as you put it, 'very sad and nostalgic'. But one of these days....

I also have two photographs that I promised to print off and send to Cyril and Keith, via Coddries. If anyone in Castara should bump into either of them please tell them that Tony hasn't forgotten. I spent many a pleasant hour liming with Cyril and I like to think that I will again.

Tony

Oh Carol,

love your pics. Especially the animal pics, really amazing! And how the h.... did you find that snake? The only snake I saw in 14 times holidays on Tobago was a dead one on the road.
Looks like you lived at Hummingbird Heaven. I really love the view and the balcony but I hate the steps (83 I guess). My friends lived there when we went to Castara in February 2007 and because of the big kitchen we decided to have breakfast and own cooked dinners at their place. The only good thing is you have to work/walk for the food and so it does not fit too hard on the hips.

Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

Cheers
Gisela

Gisela,
Yes you are right; we stayed in Hummingbird Haven. Oh those steps!!!! Lovely view though.
The second batch of photos were mainly taken by my husband, and unfortunately I never saw that snake. My husband and son went to the waterfall in Castara, which is where they saw it.
Myself and daughter never got around to visiting the waterfall as on that particular day it was too muddy for our silly sandals, and she was itching to go to the Internet Cafe and contact everyone she knows in the world. so we all split up, and somehow we never got there.
Next time. Oh please, let there be a next time!!!!

Thanks a lot Carol they are super photos and memories have come flooding back, on our previous visits I have been too lazy to walk up Jacksons Trace but I will in January.

Tony
We have also spent many happy hours liming with Cyril and hope to again next year, if you want anything taken over I can arrange it and maybe I could pop over to the island (IOW) and collect it.

Regards

Paul

Noe,

Like your pics. Don't worry about them not being "exciting". They've conveyed the perfect sense of what a vacation should be - a time to lay back, relax and "lime" 8)

Hi David, your pics are great.
I have never been in Tobago for carnival, we usually go in May. Does carnival have a theme each year? it lloked very football based from your pics.
