This place is magic!!! The house is a beauty, the view stunning and the setting in the middle of the rainforest just perfect. You don't need to be a romantic or a nature lover to appreciate the Lookout villa! Right upon arrival, you will understand why the owners have chosen THIS spot to build their vacation home!
There's a new shaded sitting deck in front of the house, where we've spent most of the time enjoying the view, observing the hummingbirds and just LIMING.

During rainy season, a 4WD is a must (which we rent from Taylor's down in Castara). Driving to the beautiful Englishman's Bay Beach takes less than 15 minutes. There's excellent snorkelling on the right side of the beach, along the rocks, but you need to be a good swimmer and bring your own mask/tuba.

For the lazy ones (like us), a 15 minutes drive to Castara gives you a good choice of simple but good restaurants. For the others, there's all you need in the kitchen at the house to fix a 5-star menu. However, don't forget to do the big shopping (near the airport) before you're heading to the villa, the choice of food at Castara's shops is very limited.

The owners are very helpful and provide all information you need to find your way up there and to make the best of your holidays. The same applies to the local caretaker King David.
