Really like the looks of half moon blue property but the last poster of march 2011 says it is run down and the restaurant is not even open . . . . is that still true?

Was wondering if there are any other restaurants/bars within walking distance, so we aren't "stuck" with eating at their restaurant all the time

Also I know it has its own little beach but is Bacolet Bay Beach within walking distance? Thank you.

Views seem to vary on the Half Moon Blue. The owners seem to have put all their efforts into their new hotel, the Bacolet Beach Club, which is directly opposite. The Havana Restaurant at the Bacolet Beach Club is really excellent - but VERY expensive.

There are no other restaurants within walking distance of either hotel.

Yes, Bacolet Beach is just a few hundred metres up the road - well within walking distance.
