one way rentals

Post by Cindy W »

We are staying our first 4/5 nights in crown point and then would like to drive ourselves up to Castara for the rest of our stay to be able to sightsee on the way up. Does anyone know if there are any car rental agencies that do one way rentals.

Also approx how long does it take to drive from Castara up to Bloody Bay and over to Roxborough and then up to speyside, thank you.

Cindy,

all major (and recommended) car rental companies in Tobago should be willing and able to collect the car
from Castara. They may want to charge a fee for that. Please also be aware that there are no gas stations in
that part of the island. Please check the maps provided on this web site.

The drive from Castara to Bloody Bay is approximately 20 minutes and another 20 to 30 minutes from Bloody Bay
to Roxborough. The road on the eastern side of the main ridge has some bad spots and you have to be careful
with a normal vehicle. Roxborough - Speyside is about a 30 - 40 minutes drive.
Those estimated times do of course not include stops for taking pictures etc.
