Mastercard Curency Card

I have one of these issued by Thomas Cook. I top it up on line in sterling and that is converted to USD. It was very easy to use in Belize at a small town where the banks issued local currency from ATMs. It is not a credit card but does have the Mastercard logo. It is PIN protected and offers a service of replacement card & funds if stolen. It means I do not need to take a lot of currency and only draw what I need so do not have to lose out changing it back when I get home. I have asked around here and with my holiday company and no one seems to think my card will work in Tobago. What do you think?
thanks

Hi Margaret

Welcome aboard! :D

If the card carries the MasterCard logo (or VISA), then it should work in any of the VISA/MasterCard affiliated ATM's, pretty much anywhere in the world. So, I wouldn't envisage any problem on Tobago.

Just to say I used my card today with no problem in a local ATM at Crowne Point
