Sandy Point Beach Club made a terrific home base during our 2 week vacation. The staff were awesome...Alvira and David in particular. The lobby staff - wonderful. Always security on site, so felt safe at all times. Grounds are very well kept. Units are a little tired and dated, but very functional. Personally, I would enjoy a little more "corner cleaning", but I did know we would have a little bit of a rustic (versus Gold Crown) experience. That was all part of the adventure. The little store on site has a bit of everything at very reasonable prices, but a trip to Pennysavers worked well. The restaurant on-site was just ok. Enjoyed a couple of good meals next door at the Steak and Lobster Bar and Grill.
My only concern (and it has nothing to do with SPBC) is that one of the tours that they allow to be promoted at the welcome breakfast was not very good (Tobago Princess) and it is my opinion that they should not be promoting it from SPBC for fear of it reflecting badly on them.
