myTobago – your questions, review and comment about Tobago

Hi everyone:
I will be in Tobago soon (yay!)
I have a 6am flight from POS back home to Canada.
Caribbean Airlines has a 1:45am flight out of TAB getting to POS at 2:10am. Which would be more than sufficient to make my 6am flight out of POS.

However, reading through various posts and websites, the information reads as though this flight does not exist. A few different web sites say that if your flight out of POS is before 9am, you have to get to Trinidad the night before. Is the 1:45am flight a new timeslot?

I would not wait until the last flight if planning to fly out at 6 am. I would leave about 8 pm or earlier the night before and either stay in a guesthouse overnight or just hang out at the airport if you are young enough to handle that. I think the 1:45 am flight is a myth.

We got on a midnight flight (United POS to Miami) last July without our luggage because Carib Air delayed us and hundreds of others leaving Tobago. It took five days but we did get our bags completely intact except for the one that had the cooked fish in it.

I suggest you contact Caribbean Airlines direct as they have introduced several "red eye" flights between Trinidad and Tobago, so it's entirely possible that the 1.45am flight does exist

For everyones' information: I did call and there is a 1:45am flight out of Tobago.

This 1:45 am flight exists. I took it last weekend, minus available flights
to Trinidad during daytime. A good addition to the heavily booked flights
on weekends. Just make sure you organize transport from Piarco to your
final destination.
