UK->Tobago via Canada and the Azores(!) on Monarch...

Post by Richard H »

Anyone looking for an unusual flight to Tobago from the UK might be interested to know that Monarch's website (and by extension Cosmos and Golden Carribean) are listing several flights in April that are stopping off in Newfoundland or the Azores!

Must be using a different aircraft with a smaller fuel tank...

We travelled back via Newfoundland (for refuelling) two weeks ago. The plane was also two hours late leaving Tobago. A long journey!

Fear not Richard - this was merely a temporary arrangement. Monarch had to change to a different aircraft on two dates - the 17th and 24th April. They are now back to their normal aircraft and the flight is non-stop again, as of today. THAT'S OFFICIAL!
