Return flight, both of wich were excellent. There are now 4 classes on the 777. First, Club, World Traveller plus and World Traveller.

There are 12 First class seats (beds really) 48 Club (recliners) 40 in World Traveeler Plus. and 100 (I think) in World Traveller.

Space is excellent. We were in World plus and had no complaints at all. The return was a night flight and we might (depends on cost) upgrade to Club as sleep would be easier.

The only downside of the flight is that it stops in Antigua each way. You can't get off so are stuck on the plane for 1-2 hours.

Food is good and the film and music choice is quite recent

Hi Stephen

Glad you liked BA (my Mrs' employer so must admit to being massively biased in favour of the airline).

There are reliable rumours afoot that, under pressure from Virgin's direct Monday flight and Excel's direct Thursday flight, BA may launch a direct service here too. There are also rumours of a Heathrow - Piarco (Port of Spain) service in the future - resurrected from 10 years ago.

We can but hope.

Cheers

I flew out Club Class to Tobago on 15th Jan and returned 29th Jan. Both flights were on a 777 and had flat beds in Club, not the cradle seats that I was expecting. Great! I had 5 hours' sleep - the longest I have ever managed on a plane. There seemed to be a First Class on the plane, but I think the only people in it were the flight crew!! A pain to touch down in Antigua - but otherwise no complaints ...
