Hi all,

Am really liking the look of certain apartments in Castara - just concerned about the security of these apartments for example Castaras Retreat and Alibaba and SeaScape... Are there any gated little apartment complexes? Worried about robberies as we are just two females.

Any advice?

Hello and welcome,You will be quite safe in Castara as the villagers care for and enjoy their visitors company.I can most certainly vouch for Ali Baba's,Steph and Brian the owners live above the apartments,and Brian(Ali Baba) is a very big man. All in all you will be OK in Castara,it is beautiful,the locals friendly and helpful.
