Can anyone please advise if prebooking seats is posible on BWIA between Toronto and Tobago.

Also, are they just using B737s on this longhaul section?

Last time we went it was L1011s between Toronto and Port of Spain.

Thank you

I called a couple days before our trip and got seat assignments for both our flight there and our return flight. We were on a 737 from JFK to Tobago, but don't know about the Toronto flight.
Hope this helps...

Prebooking Seats on BWIA

Rory:

I have never had a problem booking a seat on BWIA. You travel agent should be doing that automatically for you especially from Canada

The L1011s are things of the past. They are now only using 737s. I just returned from Tobago in February and I must say that the 737s are most uncomfortable. The seats are covered with some type of fake leather and most of them don't recline.

Just think of your destination and the 5-1/2 hours will fly by fast!

I agree with the comments re the 737s. They're ok for short hops but not for what amounts to a transcontinental run. Even the olde 727s were better!

However, to get to TAB I'd even endure a DC3!

My concern with BWIA is not so much the aircraft as not being able to obtain a seat assignment before check-in for both outbound and homeward flights.

Don't even mind going via POS on the way to TAB but definitely not going "home" to YYZ!
