We have booked our first trip in March next year in time for the Carnival (I know, long time away!) and plan to do as much diving as possible. I have RCI membership so we booked Sandy Point Beach Club for our stay. I know there is an onsite dive shop but we're quite experienced divers and I read that Speyside diving is better than Crown Point so would like to do some dives out there. Would it be better to drive out to a Speyside dive shop? I see some of the ops in Crown Point offer Speyside dive though I imagine that depends on what the boat looks like?

Hi mate,
We dived with Extra Divers and they have bases in Crown Point and Speyside. We did a couple of days diving from their base in Speyside. Drive up early morning. Couple of dives and then home to Crown Point. The bota was pretty good. Extra Divers are the most professional operation on the island, so avoid the one at the hotel and use these guys.
