We go down to gatwick tomorrow before flying out early sat. My 10 year old son has just fallen off his bike and badly chipped his tooth ( a second one). We have been to the emergency dentist and it has been sealed. we are staying in castara. If we do need a dentist on tobago are they easy to find? any reccommmendations? we have insurance but happy to pay if necessary. we leave 9am tomorrow. Thanks in anticipation. Kids eh!

Hi Helen,
fortunately we have some excellent dentists on the island.
I suggest Oracare Dental Centre ( tel. 868- 660 6725)
They are very easy to find in Scarborough in the Tateco House Wilson Road next to the TSTT building. Should I arrange an appointment for you?

Thank you so much Patrick. He has his teeth sealed which should be ok for the two weeks. we would only need an appointment if he has any pain or infection.Thank you for your kind offer. We will print off the details in case we need them.I knew I could rely on this site. Signing off now. Promise to write a report and answer any questions when I get back

Hi Helen
Out of hours you could contact Dr Addison Moore, who also practices in Scarborough, cell phone 7601167 or office 6393568. He used to be head of the Government Dental service and should know which end of your child to drill!
Let's hope it doesn't become necessary.
