Golden Thistle really should be referred to as a Guest House rather than be called a Hotel. As Hotel's come with certain expectations Golden Thistle had none of those expectations. The place could do with a little upgrade as there was no microwave or electric kettle in the room. The pool could do with tiling or a nice paint job. Housekeeping was not consistent in the cleaning of the rooms. All in all it was a more or less comfortable stay as we spent most of our days outdoors and only use the rooms for sleeping purposes.
