This ones for Partrick of Yes Tourism. I am arriving at Tobagos main airport at 1600 Thursday 2nd Jan with my financee Heather for a very special holiday. I would like to arrange collection from the airport to Coco Reef hotel via a luxury type vehicle or some other similar mode of transport. Could you get back to me if this is something you could arrange for me and approximate cost. Sorry it is short notice but I was going to hire the Rolls Royce from Coco reef but I been told it is out of service at the moment.
Kind regards
Mike C.

Hi Mike I've taken the liberty of copying and sending your question directly to Yes Tourism. They seem to monitor and respond to questions in this forum fairly regularly, but they may not be operational over this holiday period (although I imagine they will be). Just for future reference, you can email them at
[email protected] or via their web at
http://www.yes-tourism.com. As a matter of interest, the old Roller at the Coco Reef has not moved under its own steam for several years. It's a nice decoration under the main entrance though.

Steve, many thanks. I have seen items from Patrick on the web site over the last 6 months, he seems to be a good point of contact on the island judging from comments made by other visitors. As we are first time visiters to Coco Reef and Tobago we will try and post our view of the resort and island on our return. We have found your web site to be very helpful and congratulate you on the time and effort that you devote to it
Regards Mike & Heather.

Hi Mike My pleasure!
Having been away from a computer keyboard for a week due to seasonal family commitments, it was a pleasure to be “back” again.
Although I emailed your post to Yes Tourism, they couldn’t reply direct because I haven’t got your email address. Best that you contact them direct using the address I gave in my last post.
Yes Tourism is an interesting firm and their name is increasingly (and very positively) mentioned in private email reports to me from visitors. I met Patrick when he was over in London for the World Travel Market exhibition recently. What a charming man! I was so impressed by the depth of his commitment to Tobago. I haven’t met the other senior members of his team – Katharina (tour manager) and Tanja (office manager), but have had email correspondence with both. My impressions were neatly summed up in the post from Doug of Vancouver just a week ago – they are just so easy going and friendly that you soon consider them “friends”. All three were originally from Germany and have local partners. Their love and pride of Tobago is clearly evident and seems to come through in everything they do – a lovely mixture of Teutonic efficiency with Caribbean hospitality and warmth.
I have been particularly impressed by the way that Yes Tourism monitor this forum and respond to questions. OK, good PR I know – but which would you prefer to deal with - the firms who couldn’t care a damn, or those who genuinely seem to care and go out of their way to help make your visit a little easier?
The whole purpose of this site is to enhance the holiday experience by steering visitors to the best places and away from the worst. The better the holiday, the more likely the visitor is to return and to recommend Tobago to others. In this way we achieve our basic aim of helping local employment through the promotion of tourism. Within this context, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending that every visitor notes the name Yes Tourism and do as you suggest - “consider them a good point of contact on the island”.
Have a wonderful holiday and please share your experiences and views on your return (see our Aide Mémoire on the Feedback page so that we can jog your memory on your return).

Dear Mike, we are pleased to assist you with the airport transfer in a special vehicle. Unfortunately, there are no Rollies available on the island for transfers. The most you will find is a comfortable limousine American style (like Lincoln Continental). We have located exactly that vehicle for you. The transfer from Airport to Coco Reef (one way) would be USD 5. Please let us have your exact flight details (Airline and arrival time together with your names) if you would like us to do the necessary arrangements for you. You can contact directly at
[email protected] Best regards
