Two Hotels to Consider Near Piarco Airport

My wife and I have stayed at Regent Star Hotel ("RSH") twice and Holiday Inn Express ("HIE") three times in 2016. We consider them both suitable for overnight stays.
Both: are near the airport (RSH 1 km, HIE 5 km); are clean; have helpful front desk staff and drivers; have reliable shuttle bus service; would probably be "two diamonds" on the AAA rating system; and cost about US$180-200 all-in for a double room.
RSH is quite new. It has a restaurant (but expensive, and service is sometimes slow). The shuttle bus runs twice each hour 24 hours/day.
HIE serves a basic buffet breakfast starting at 6 a.m.. The shuttle bus runs hourly starting at 4 a.m. (o'clock from the hotel, quarter-past from the airport) plus additional runs 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (half-past from the hotel, quarter-to from the airport). The shuttle can also run guests to the TrinCity Mall (2 km away) for basic lunch and supper options at the food court.
