Hi Josephine & Leroy.

Well, you certainly couldn’t pick a more romantic, friendly and welcoming place to get married than Tobago.

Your choice is pretty much limited to either the Hilton or Coco Reef Resort. If the ceremony is going to be outdoors, then the Coco Reef would probably be the better choice. I haven’t seen the conference hall of the Hilton, but suspect that this might be a good choice for an ‘indoor’ wedding.

I would strongly recommend that you use a local wedding coordinator to arrange and manage the event. This is essential when you are based so far away from the island and is a much safer bet than asking the hotel to arrange things. Tobago Weddings are the only firm I can recommend currently. Website: http://www.tobagoweddings.com - Email: [email protected]. I would suggest that contacting them would be your best first step.

One of the beauties of Tobago is that it is small and unique. You won’t be part of a wedding factory production line, like so many other popular wedding locations – but it does mean making reservations early for a wedding of that size.

Good luck and please come back to us if we can be of any help.
