hi all - back contributing now; forgot my details and one thing leads to another and you never get around to sorting it out !
year on year the numbers are increasing despite regular "derby" and "hunt" events.
just a quick note to remind everyone about the risks they can pose but also that they are very good eating and increased demand for them as a food supply may help a little with controlling the population.
i am hearing that some species local to theses waters may be learning how to take them as prey but it's a losing battle at the moment
