How I wish I had found and taken notice of these reports before I visited. As a regular international backpacker, I have experienced some pretty rough, dirty places. Woods is superficially okay, if in need of total refurbishment. However, make no mistake - if you complain about the slightest thing you will be in trouble. So much so that my partner felt quite intimidated. Probably the worst attitude problems we have ever come across and so different to other places we have stayed in both Trinidad and Tobago.
