Hi Steve
Thanks for all your help. I met Paul and Sue in Castara yesterday. They are super friendly. Paul sends his warm regards to you.
I am travelling to Bacolet today. Yes im going via public transport from just outside Castara. Dorian and Plaits were very helpful at the shop which is also the pick up point for the PTSC buses. They gave me a timetable. Today im putting that to the test.
Just wanted to ask you about Bacolet. Any points of interest you can recommend?
Sorry for the late ask.
Happy New year!
Cathy

My apologies, Cathy, but I always have a computer/email-free day on Sundays and so have only just seen your request. However, all the notable sightseeing spots are listed in our Sightseeing section.

Anyway, I hope you are enjoying your visit.

Hi Streve is correct as he has put a lot in of information.

The only thingI would like to add is the risk of strong current in some places.
I use to be at a beach there, not far from Scarborough, a friendly place and even a hotel cafe on the beach!
The area was like a U open against the sea. As the water is coming from Atlantic side the current is always strong outside the U. Safe inside but dangerous outside, peoples has been caught by the current and som of them did die!
Depending on where you will be, alsways ask locals at the hotel. There are NO life guards on these beaches!
