Swiss Family Robinson behind the scenes photo - Kevin Corcoran, Richmond Bay, Tobago 1959

Behind the scenes photo of Swiss Family Robinson. Kevin Corcoran enjoying a wheelbarrow ride to the movie set at Richmond Bay. He was just 10 years old when he played Young Francis in Swiss Family Robinson. He played Tommy Kirk’s brother in 5 different movies - Old Yeller (1957), Shaggy Dog (1959), Swiss Family Robinson (1960), Bon Voyage (1962) and Savage Sam (1963).

Kevin Corcoran (Moochie) autograph October 1959 - signed during a weekend trip to Buccoo Reef, Tobago with some of the Swiss Family Robinson cast and crew.

Moochie’s 1959 autograph ✍️ is still in the hands of a local who worked at one of the hotels where some of the Disney cast and crew members stayed in 1959.

Swiss Family Robinson movie trailer screenshot - ITS THE GREATEST ADVENTURE STORY OF THEM ALL .

Scene filmed at the Robinson family fort, Richmond Bay. The fort was built of fiberglass rocks on a concrete base. Interestingly, the base is still there at the top of the hill - but it’s shrouded by dense primary forest. Richmond Bay, Tobago.

Swiss Family Robinson was released on December 21st 1960 - sixty years ago!

Getting to the Robinson family fort at the top of the hill is much more challenging. It’s a trek through dense primary forest, but it may be worth it. The concrete base of the fort is still there - a piece of which is hanging precariously over the edge of
