Hi, does anyone know can we find oatmeal in the supermarket? We are used to eat oatmeal porridge to start a good morning

Hi Sunshine

Don't know, to be honest. Hopefully someone local can advise. I love porridge on cold winter mornings here in the UK, but confess that it would be far too 'heavy' for the warm mornings in Tobago, where toast and fresh fruit are definitely the way to go for me.

Yes. Both Pennysaver and Moorshead markets sell oatmeal.

We bring almonds with us from the US for our oats because they are insanely expensive on the island. There are raisins and cinnamon in the markets and bananas available on almost every street corner.

Enjoy! 8)

there's a wide range of porridges imported and available in the supermarkets and larger min-marts, obviously at a price premium. Many locally produced (and priced accordingly) versions also.

Qatmeal also available quite widely, will be in a different aisle, as are rough oats.
