Accommodation port of spain

Hi, sorry for my poor english. 2 french guys (father and son) aŕriving 2020/02/20-24 are looking for accomodation in port of spain for carnival. Hôtels and guesthouses full. Anyone having a quick way to solve our problem, please contact me. Thanks. Fr

Sorry for the delay in replying and welcome to our forum.
I wish I could bring you good news. I only have a superficial knowledge of Trinidad and this website only really covers Tobago, but as I understand it, you need to book accommodation many months (even years) in advance for the Carnival dates. The same applies in Tobago - because of all the Trinis who flock over to Tobago to get away from the madness of Carnival. A great event that is worth experiencing (well, it was 40 years ago when I last went) but something that has to be planned WELL in advance.
Good luck finding somewhere, but sadly I'm not hopeful that anyone can help.
