Help with holiday snaps please

Can anybody identify these 2 places for me please? We're putting our photos into an album with brief comments next to each picture but we can't remember the names of these 2 places :?

This first one was taken somewhere on the Atlantic coast between Scarborough and the Argyle Waterfall. From the timestamp on this photo and the first photo I have from the Argyle waterfall this view is about half an hour's slow bus ride from the waterfall.

This second one was taken on the Caribbean coast and is Englishman's Bay I think. Can anyone confirm this? The bus stopped for about 30 seconds for us to snap a picture and then we were on our way again towards the rainforest.

Many thanks in advance,
Dave and Diane

Having not been to Tobago yet I cannot help identify your photographs, however I have to say that second picture is truly beautiful.
Roll on holiday!

Hi Dave, the second picture is Englishmans Bay, definitely I have a picture from the same spot. I'm not sure about the first one. We drove that route as well but I don't recall seeing that view. Sorry

Yes, second picture definitely is Englishman's Bay, taken from the viewpoint on the road approaching from the south from the direction of Castara.

Truly a wonderful beach.

Hi Dave

Now that all you night birds have had a crack at it, I'll shake the sleep from my eyes and make a guess. Joe and Pauline are quite right about the first shot being Englishman's Bay. The second shot is trickier, but my best guess is that it is Pinfold Bay. Do you have any other photos taken from the same location? What I was hoping for was a shot looking out to sea. If there's a very small island/rock off shore, then that would be Smith's Island, confirming that it is Pinfold Bay with Granby Point being the point of land you are facing.

Hopefully somebody else can confirm this.

Thank you all for your help :)

Steve, unfortunately that's the only picture I have of that particular bit of coast. If I remember correctly we didn't even get off the bus at that point as there was no pavement or grass verge so I snapped the pic from the bus window.

From looking at the map on the beaches page it looks like we were in the right place for it to be Pinfold bay. Unless anyone says anything otherwise in the next few days I'll put it down as Pinfold Bay in the album.

Many thanks all,
Dave and Diane

Now that I am more awake... is that not the spot where they shot the scene of the ship wreck in Swiss family Robinson? I still don't know the name of the bay, but it looks exactly like the view that we were looking at when our guide gave us that useless piece of information!!!
