In 50 years of going to Tobago this is the worst accommodation I have stayed at. The property was filthy. One of the toilets never worked. Appliances were over 20 years old. Kitchen was ill equipped and the staff utterly rude. Never to be repeated.

We are very sorry to read your negative review of J’Ouvert Villa. At the time you stayed there the appliances were only two years old and are still in very good condition. We have owned the villa for 17 years and treat it as our home in Tobago. Our staff have been with us for many years and take pride in keeping the place in good condition, ready to receive guests. Certainly if a toilet was blocked it would be fixed immediately. We investigated the situation and understand that there was an altercation between you and the housekeeper about changing the sheets when your belongings were left on the bed. Understandably the housekeeper was reticent to touch your belongings as per our instructions. Had you contacted us directly at that time we would have done everything we could to address your concerns.
