just returned from an enjoyable stay, on my own ... my second visit! For me it's ideal - simplicity with comfort, surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers and birds.
This part of Black Rock is home to the local people, nothing 'touristy' about it, just a real down-to-earth village with a rugged, but lovely, beach at the end of the road and Grafton Beach just a short walk away.
No car, so I walked everywhere in the area and experienced nothing but friendly responses from everyone around and always felt comfortable and safe. The local vibe is part of the Black Rock experience.
Hope to return!
