Our 8th Trip to the Island!

Just booked a January Trip to Tobago, and could not be more excited to return to the island! The wait will be hard, but the reward will be worth it.
We have been going every couple years since 2009, when are kids were tiny, and now they are adults.
We were there last in January 2022, but if anything significant has changed, Paul/Steve/Regulars, please let me know.
We typically stay in a guest house in Bon Accord, which gives us easy access to the Bon Accord Basket market and the PennySavers Canaan. Renting a vehicle or two from Sheppy, lets us spend our time in Castara, Parlatuvier and Charlottesville when the mood strikes us, or a quick brunch at Shore Things in Lowlands. Days on Pirate's Bay Beach and Englishman's Bay Beach are a must for us, as is our annual hike into the rainforest to Highland Falls (the best waterfall on the island due to its relative isolation).
For the past 10 years, I have been photographically chronicling the jungle reclaiming the Arnos Vale Waterwheel Restaurant, and the elements reclaiming the old hotel (yes I am aware of the risk in lingering on the property...)
If there has been any major or interesting news please let me know (i.e. the Sandal's fiasco from a couple years ago, or the sad closing of that small Tapas restaurant in Scarborough, SALSA KITCHEN). Glad to see Regina's Cuffie Resort is still going strong, enjoying a meal with her family and staff every time we are on the island, is also something we love to do.
