Anyone felt the presence of these creatures this year Jan2025. Particularly in the Plymouth area?

Mosquitos prefer women so sit by your wife/partner. Deodorants/creams may attract them?
Avoid wearing dark/black clothing at night.
B12 in your system can help so get over any dislike for Marmite!
They are poor fliers, any breeze keeps them at bay. Deet etc smell awful.
Around where you are staying empty or turnover anything that can hold water after rain.
We store empty beer bottles upside down in the crate etc.
Bites below the knee are usually sandflies, rinse off before entering your accommodation. We have foot washes by our studios. ( Less/no sand in the showers then!)
They really are not that bad after taking simple precautions!
