I stayed at the Coco Reef resort, with my wife from 30/11/24 until 10/12/24. This was our first visit to Tobago, which we enjoyed very much. The hotel is in a wonderful location and despite being very close to the airport, noise was not an issue. Our room was very nice although it was probably overdue for a bit of a spruce up.
The staff in the hotel were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Our biggest disappointment at the hotel was the very limited menu for dinner. My wife is a vegetarian and there was only 1 vegetarian option on the menu each evening. This was made worse because there were only 3 vegetarian choices in all during our stay and vegetarian lasagne was often offered on consecutive nights. We had expected a choice of restaurant in the evening as advertised on the hotel website but the 2 restaurants were never open at the same time. This was almost certainly due to the low number of guests staying in the hotel but it reduced our meal options even more.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel but feel that bed and breakfast may have been a better choice than all inclusive.
