We spent a month here during our internship at Scarborough General Hospital, and it was the perfect place to stay!
The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed—comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, reliable WiFi, and more and was very clean. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Shirma and Clifford are incredibly kind and always went out of their way to help. If we ever needed anything for the apartment, they provided it immediately. They also assisted with planning excursions and transport—and often got us better prices than we would have on our own!
The neighborhood is safe, beautiful, and just a short walk from a breathtaking beach. Daily transport to the hospital was provided, and we were taken grocery shopping once a week. On arrival, we were picked up from the airport and even got help setting up a local SIM card.
All the internship students stayed with Shirma, which made for an amazing group experience. Every Sunday, she cooked a delicious lunch for us—definitely a highlight of the week!
If you’re coming to Tobago for an internship or just looking for a fantastic place to stay, we highly recommend it!
