I was staying at Shirma's for my medical elective in Scarborough Hospital and it was wonderful. The Appartements are spacious and have everything you would need on a daily bases provided. And even if something wasn't there, Shirma was more than happy to help. In fact I think Shirmas willingness to help me and the other medical students which were staying with her at that time, made the expreience in Tobago way easier and way nicer. It didn't matter wheter you needed a inexpensive Taxi driver, advise on some planned trips or even special prices for a car rental ;) Also we got a free lift to the hospital each morning and typicall local food as a Sunday lunch each week. Another thing that was really cool was that there were other medical students at Shirmas with which you could do the activities together and connect with immediatly. Overall I would recommend everyone who plans on doing an elective in Tobago to go to Shirma it was just the best!
