I don’t know where to start trying to describe how incredible my experience staying with Shirma was. Quite frankly, Shirma and her family made my entire experience of Tobago incredible.
Firstly, the accommodation itself is fantastic, it’s incredibly safe,, the flat was lovely, the facilities are great and everything worked wonderfully. The surrounding area is quite and calm and only a short walk to the beach. We had access to the beach club with a pool. Furthermore, we were provided a lift to the hospital every morning as well as a trip to the shops every week. It was great!
Outside this however, the hospitality, kindness and helpfulness shown to us by Shirma and her family were unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I have never met a host who is willing to go so above and beyond for her guests, and is available 24/7 to help solve any problem, big or small. Also, her cooking and her brothers cooking was incredible!
Shirma helped us book various trips and tours as well as give us the wisdom and recommendations she has amassed from a lifetime on the island. I felt so lucky to get to know her and only wish we had more time on the island to get to know her more.
I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else on the Island and hopefully will be back in the future!
