December 2025,Returning to Blue Marlin for the third time felt like coming home. After our August stay, we knew we had to spend Christmas here again, the magic of this place is simply irresistible. This majestic Stone Haven Bay continues to captivate us with its natural Black Rock beauty: the mineralised black sands, the shimmering waters, and the breathtaking contrast of calm snorkeling coves to the right, with gentle waves for cautious bathers, and livelier surf further along the shore for those who crave adventure. My husband delighted in the rolling waves, while the kids were overjoyed jumping waves, playing in the sand, and splashing endlessly in the perfectly designed shallow pool. There is an unmatched freedom here stepping straight onto the beach, escaping for a quiet sea bath without ever starting a car, running along the coastline as the waves crash beside you, framed by dramatic rock formations and sunsets that steal your breath away. Nearby beachside restaurants and our favourite Ice Cream just minutes away added to the joy of our stay, but it is the feeling of comfort, warmth, and belonging that truly defines Blue Marlin. Third time truly was the charm and leaving is bittersweet. We carry home treasured memories of time well spent with loved ones and deep gratitude to Liz for her kindness and attentiveness, and to the owner for so generously sharing this beautiful home with us once again.
