Shut now until about Sept IIRC (owner, wife and child gone to Italy for 2 months).
Well earnt reputation.
I'd be happy to eat this food in London at the same price, it wasn't cheap but then it also didn't harm the wallet.
Couple of courses on an unchanged menu (we visited twice) suitable for us veggie types, both very good.
Service was warm (the chef's wife) and the food very good. Wine list a bit steep unless you are a wine lover but the house red very good and affordable!
Would very much recommend although it felt a little like cheating going there ! (ie not eating 'local' food).
