Well Steve its the last day of June tomorrow and we had a small bet can't remember what the stakes were but I know I won.
It was how many members would be on the board by end of June I said 1000 its stands tonight at 948 Steve said it would take till the end of 2004 to reach 1000 Steve I think I am closer. Prize on its way !!!. Return Tickets? but its to Suffolk.
Joking apart well done Steve for alll you efforts even though I am now number two to Marc but he did have loads of one liners.
Hope we can met up for that beer one day.

Hi John
Congratulations on making "Oh, so Sad!" status. Being second to Marc, I guess you're not quite as sad as him (but God knows what that makes me with over 1200 posts).
Yes, at the start of January you reckoned that we would have 1000 registered users by the end of June. Not wishing to be over-optimistic, I said the end of the year. You raised the issue again in April and still reckoned the end of June. I said the end of July. I believe the bet was whether you got to keep your old cartoon avatar or change it for a real photo of yourself, but as you've done that we'll just have to change the bet. Maybe you will just promise to forget Grenada and get back to Tobago - preferably between January and March when I'm there so that we can share a couple of bottles of cold Stag.

Look on the bright side John. Your 100+ posts have mostly been informative answers to people's questions. Mark on the other hand had posted at least 150 questions here before he even set foot on Tobago

What about a my Tobago convention?? If everyone was to meet up in Tobago at some stage in the future, we could have a right old session!!
Steve Pitts could bring the Fishing gear. Marc could bring the snorkelling gear, and myself, John and Steve W could sort out the stag!!!!!!!

Now, there's a thought. We'd just have to make sure it wasn't while there was a beer strike on though.

Hi Joe,
Nice idea about the my tobago convention, maybe I could get it on my expences?
How about an I'm in Tobago section so peope can post the dates and location they are staying at if anyone wants to pop round for a Stag and a chin wag.
Regards
Kevin

I may have gone nuts before I went but boy did it help!
Although it was massively unnerving to have people I had never met say "Oh, YOU'RE Marc Jones".
Tell you what, I ever win the lottery you're on, all of you!
