upgrading to excel one

After reading all the posts regarding excel flights, we have decided to upgrade to excel one from basic economy. It cost and extra £330.00 each return. We are really excited about the flight now as before we were quite dreading spending the first and last 10 hours of our holiday, cooped up on a plane.
I would be really interested to hear from others who have recently flown excel one, and who could tell us about some of the extra's.

Hi Louise,
We upgraded on the way home from Tobago to Premium Economy. Definately worth it. The extra room makes ALL the difference. The meals, comfort pack (toothbrush, toothpaste, eye masks etc) are all better. Champagne or fresh orange when you get on the plane. We also got on the plane before others - going up the steps at the front of the plane. I think at the price you are paying, it will be Premium Economy that you are upgrading to, not Excel One. I could be wrong, but if it is Excel One for that price - snatch their hands off.

We will definately travel Premium Economy next time.
We originally booked the extra legroom seats, but being larger than a ladies size 14, the exit seats had loads of legroom, but the seats were really narrow.
Hope you have a great time.
Jill.

Hi Jill Thanks for the info! It is definately excel one. The £330.00 that I quoted was on top of what we'd already paid for the basic economy. The total cost is about £889.00. My partner took abit of persuading but I'm glad now that we've done it!

Louise,
We paid an extra £139 each for just the return journey. Yours is a great price.

Hi,
I,ve just got back and flew with economy excel airways. For what we got the flights for (£420) it was fine but the leg room relly was awful and im only 5ft 9 so upgrading would be a really wise thing to do!
