I've got a great price for accommodation but the flights are a killer.
On a budget it's very tempting to go AI because it means you don't worry about spending a lot one you get there (ie you have to eat so that's money you can't avoid spending!).
Thanks for the tip off, I'll go see about flights only there.

Marc,
We always go Self Catering at about $50US per night for a studio. That way, 2 people can travel for £343 (Excel) + £200 week approx for the rooms.
That totals £886 for 1 week. Even if you spend £50/night on meals, it still works out cheap. Get barbecue takeaway on a couple of evenings (about £2.50 each) and it soon gets even cheaper. 
I guess that you will get a car whatever way you go?
