Accommodation help

What a wonderful site, I have already spent hours browsing it.
My husband and I have booked flights for late March for 2 weeks and have decided to stay self-catering, one week on the beach in Castara for me as I love snorkelling and one week somewhere higher up [for the cool breezes] and quiet with lots of birdlife for him.
The Castara retreat sounded ideal but is fully booked and The Nest has not yet responded to my e-mail. Any other suggestions would be very welcome.
